The Best Christmas Ever

Christmas night I found Hailey fast aleep on my floor surronded with all her new Christmas treasures. My favorite part was that she had Geerta sharing her blanket and stuffed animal with her new baby "sister" from santa. We had a wonderful Christmas day!

Merry Christmas 2010

We hope you all had a great Christmas and were able to spend it with your famlies. I know we had a great time and it was nice to have a relaxing calm day and let Hailey play with her new toys. We also go to go over to Grandma & Grandpa Lems house for a nice dinner and presents. We got spoiled this year and apprecite all the gifts. Enjoy our pictures!

Christmas Eve 2010

We had a great Christmas Eve today. This morning we went up to my Dad's house where the cousins loved playing and it was nice to hang out. And of course the kids loved opening presents. Grandma Awsumb made each of the kids their very own monster so the kids were in heaven playing with those. It was great to visit as well.

After leaving their house we headed to Grandma & Grandpa Larsen's home. It was great to see family and talk about the true meaning of Christmas with the kids. And of course Grandma & Grandpa Larsen spoiled us. Haliey loved getting presents today and we thank everyone for all the nice gifts.

After that we went home and enjoyed spending sometime as a family. Hailey got to open her new jammies and we read "The Night Before Christmas" story. Then we went for a short ride and ended up at In N Out Burger eating a hamburger. Nothing says Merry Christmas better than that yummy hamburger! hahaha Needless to say we had a busy day but were glad we got to spend it with family Thanks again to everyone for the gifts. We hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Oh and sorry the pictures aren't in order ... I am too tired to play around witht them! haha

Temple Square 2010

One of my goals this year was to make sure we took Hailey to see Temple Square. It hasn't been a priority in years past and I wanted her to have the opportunity of seeing it and remembering it. I can't even remember the last time we went she was obviously a baby and it was a great family thing to do. We made a nice dinner for our neighbors and us and then decided to all go down to Temple Square together. Despite the crowds we had a great time./ And of course since Baby Benjamin was going to be riding in his stroller Geerta needed hers too. It was a great night and we appreciate having great friends to share these events with. Enjoy the pictures!

Gone Shopping!

The other night we had to run to Smiths to get some groceries. Hailey was in heaven when she found this small cart for her to push Geerta in. And of course she loved putting all the groceries in her cart. Which is funny since most of it was stuff we needed for her. I was glad I had my camera she was too cute shopping, loading it on the counter to pay, and loading the car. It was so fun to see her so excitedt o go grocery shopping!

Randy & Tracie Visit

My cool cousin Randy and he darling wife Tracie came to visit from Texas. He loves In N Out so it was only fitting to go there for lunch. We had a great time visiting and the kids had a grand time together. Afterwards we went shopping at Old Navy for a fun treat. Thanks for taking time to see us. We miss you!

Artist

Hailey loves to draw and it always surprises me at how good she can draw. The other day she brought me a drawing for Geertas Blanket. I was quite impressed and she even got the ribbon taggie down too. I love the things she draws!

Ballet West presents The Nutcracker

We have all been looking forward to todays great event. As part of our Christmas present My mom and Step Dad Ben took us all to see the Nutcracker. Hailey was so excited to get to see the dancers. She has a bigger desire to work hard in her dance classes now because she wants to dance in The Nutcracker when she is older. My favorite part was not only watching the talented dancers but watching Hailey's face as she experienced it. At one point she leaned over to me and said, "I'm so into it!" I am glad she appreciated it and enjoyed the beauty in it. I am beyond thankful for Grandma & Grandpa Lems being willing to take our family to see the Nutcracker. I am not sure we would have been able to take Hailey anytime soon. They were also super nice and let the kids get a darling ornament to remember our visit to the Nutcracker and a nice book. In addition of course they feed us dinner at one of our favorite Places, Texas Roadhouse. We were all stuffed after but we had a great day. Thanks so much for sharing this great opportunity with us!

Every year we get a new Christmas ornament that resembles something about us that year. Hailey picked this darling dancing girl as her ornament.

And our best friend baby Benjamin came along too!

Hailey was so excited to be invited to a friends swimming birthday party. She had a great time playing in the water with most of her dance team friends!
