Second Grade!!!

It's hard to believe my little baby started Second Grade today. I sware the years are flying by. She was so excited to start school. I on the other hand have been in denial school was starting so Saturday we had to rush to get her a new shirt and and backpack for school. I feel like such a bad mom. I figure she has all her summer clothes she can wear but we at least let her get a new shirt for the first day and we will worry about winter clothes when it gets cooler! I wasn't so hot about all the choices she picked but I figured it was her choice and had to let her decide. I would have picked a completly different outfit and backpack and actually done her hair cute with ribbons and bows. I hate this sign of her growing older and getting opinions. She loved the first day and Mom spoiled her with a slurpee and dunford donut after! Happy 2nd Grade year to us!

Cowabunga Bay

About a year ago at a Silent Auction we bid on Cowabunga Bay day passes. We won them but have never had the chance to use them. Luckily Jared took last Thursday and Friday off to play before Hailey went back to school so we were able to finally go. Everytime we drive by Hailey begs to go so as you can imagine she was sooooo excited! It was a fun day at the waterpark!

Seven Peaks

This summer we have really enjoyed using the free passes Jared won to Seven Peaks. We have been able to  go to seven peaks salt lake or provo at least once a week. Hailey is so fun to watch go on all the slides. She has no fear and loves it. Its been a fun outing for our family and we have loved every minute of it!

 Don't mind the blurry photos it was my crappy old camera...I needed a new point and shoot and now you see why! hahah

Happy 24th of July!!

On the 24th of July we were invited to have dinner with our neighbors, a kiddie pool party and a fireworks show. I think Hailey was super excited for it all. Since I had broke my toe a few days before I wasn't to much fun of company but it was so nice of them to invite us over. Hailey loved the sparklers and watching her face was priceless! Despite my pain it was a fun night!

10 year anniversary

I am so behind on my blogging but I had to share a quick photo since it was our 10 year anniversary this year. Due to the fact that we have been so busy we never planned anything big so last minute we decided to head to Vegas for a few days. It's cheap and there is lots of free stuff to do. We have never left Hailey that long and it was good to get away as a couple. We enjoyed spending time together! One of the highlights of the trip was getting free tickets to Blue Man Group! It was a fun show and a great night out! Happy 10 years Jared!!!
