Aspire Nationals 2013

Today marked the end of another dance comeptition season, we still have our year end showcase but the competions are all over. Its always a little bitter sweet but this year it really is affecting Hailey. I think the older she is getting and the more into it she is the harder having a season come to an end is. Happy for a great year, sad to see it end, but looking forward to all the fun exciting new things for next year!

We couldn't have asked for a better way to end the season. Hailey performed her trio for the last time today and they got a Diamond Ranking and 1st place. This is the highest you can get and they were also give crowns! Some competitions give out crowns for trios who get first and others don't. Hailey was so proud of that crown. Its been a lot of hard work doing a trio and today paid off! Its taken more dedication and hard work then I think she realized going into it but it was so worth it. I am not going to lie there have been tears, sweat, and happy times but we pulled through. And she even cried when we got home that she never gets to perform that dance again....kind of ironic thinking back to when they first starting learning their trio she was a little upset it was going to be too hard. She has come a long way and it has helped her grow so much as a dancer. I couldn't be more proud as a Mom. I'm not gonna lie I cried seeing her getting that trophy and crown on stage today! Such a happy moment. 

Also Hailey's team took 1st place and Diamond Rankings in Both their Jazz and Lyrical dances. I will post videos soon now that the season is over! Great work to Hailey, her team, her teachers, and everyone at Synergy! We appreciate everything Synergy and her dancing does for Hailey.We now looking forward to the beginning of yet another great year!

 Trio girls with Marnie....she has worked with them once a week to clean their trio and help them be ready for competition. She has come to support them at all their competitions and make sure they were excited and confident about performing. She has been awesome!

Star Blankey!

One of Hailey's most prized possessions would have to be her star blankey! She has been attached to this blanket since she was born. Its so worn out you can barely even see that it has stars on it. No matter if she is happy or sad she always wants star blanket with her. She usually has another blanket with her as well but keeps star blanket by her face. She's pretty protective of it....however i have been noticing every morning that she wraps Toby up in her blanket. He will cuddle and sleep in her blanket for quite a while. I guess they must share a special bond with star blanket! Oh and just now I walked in my room to find her and Toby laying together with him wrapped in star blanket and her wrapped in another blanket. So sweet ... I think she loves her puppy!

Team Topaz Pictures 2013

Hailey had her team photos last week and I decided to snap a few of my own on my camera....little did I realize my camera settings were all messed up but oh wells I still got a couple of cute pictures! I can't wait to get the team pictures back. I think they will be super cute!

Kearns Competition

Last weekend Hailey had yet another competition. She performed her trio and her team dances. They did awesome!  1st in Jazz and Lyrical and 2nd in Trio!!! Here are a few pictures!

 Being silly birds!

 I made these darling spirit dolls for the girls. They had a cute poem that said to give them a hug and a kiss and the doll would help them go out on the floor and do their best. I think they were a hit!

Toby Photos!

Last week I tried to get a couple pictures of Toby. It's not very easy as all he wants to do is move around. We are still loving having him part of our family. Its amazing how much JOY he is bringing to our family. We are loving playing with him, cuddling, going for walks, feeding him, bathing, taking care of him etc. It seems like he has been a party of our family forever. We sure LOVE OUR TOBY! Sometimes I still can't believe I actually got a dog but man this puppy and I are so close. I love how every time I come home he comes right to me and is sooo cute. And then he goes straight to the craft room like he wants to hang with me in there. Its been a lot of work but SO REWARDING. We are so grateful for Toby. Sorry for all the pictures!

PS Cousin Awsumb sent him this darling bandanna when we first got him. He loves his first gift!
