VERY IMPORTANT

So I was looking back at a few of my entries today and realized I have such a hard time at spelling. The funny thing is I really am a good speller but I try to type faster than my brain can think resulting in horribly misspelled words. The spell checker never works for me so I just thought I'd apologize that you have to try to decode my typing when you read my blog. Gotta love it though right! So be aware that is why I have so many typing errors!!!

Storytime and Lunch!!!

We had so much fun on Wednesday going to storytime and celebrating Dr. Suess' birthday that is On friday. The kids loved the party hats and we so excited tow ear them. Afterwards we made the long drive to go to lunch with Grandpa Awsumb. Our redrobin was so good. Thanks grandpa. The kids had to wear there hats in to lunch adn were oh so cute!

I did this based on it being the time from exactly this day and month!

20 years ago - 1988 - i was 4.5 years old. I have no memories from that age other than I was probably playing with Lauri or Shannon or riding me bike. I loved to ride my bike. I believe at this time I was probalby taking Dance lessons from Miss Margene as well.

10 years ago - 1998 - i was 14.5. I was in 9th grade at good ole John F. Kennedy Jr. High! I was on the yearbook staff and also on Dance Company. I keep busy with school and enjoyed hanging out with my friends. I also really started liking the boys at this age! LOL

5 years ago - 2003 - i was 19.5 I had been married to Jared for just over 6 months. I was working as a receptionist for my sisters business. However I think it was around this time that I stopped working for a few months till the summer when I started at the school district. Jared and I were still living in Bountiful and enjoyed just spending lots of time together.

3 years ago - 2005 - i was 21.5 . I was pregnant and miserable. i was on bed rest due to preclampsia and going nuts at home and ready for Hailey to come out. At this point I only had a few weeks left till our miracle came. All I can remember is being big fat and miserable whiel waiting for her to come!

1 year ago - 2007 - i was 23.5 My medical issues were starting to peak at this time. I was having back problems, MRi's physical thearphy. As well as repeat eye surgiers and oral surgeries. I was being sick a lot of the time. However Hailey kept me entertained every day! Also I still found time to go out shoppping for some enjoyment!

so far this year - i'm 24, and starting to feel a little old. Jared and I have been married for 5.5 years I still have issues with my back. I will be having an MRI done tommorow! Hailey is the light and joy of my life. SHe is growing up so big and I enjoy being home with her and enjoyed every min. She keeps me on my Itoes and entertained. I am still working at gymboree a few times a month when we get new lines. I love getting to earn some extra money but still be home with Hailey too. I have been working on losing weight and have lost almost 40 pounds. I like to go out and I can't wait for Spring to come so we can be outside playing.

yesterday--since it is 130am we will cal yesterday SUNDAY. Slept in because I hurt my back the daybefore cleaning out the car. Jared and Hailey headed to Jared's meeting and church. He is so sweet to take her when I am not feeling good. They came home from church. We ate lunch! We spend some time cuddling and relaxing as a family. I got showerd. We went for a long drive in the rain! LOL then came home and played games. Ate dinner, took a short nap. Got Hailey ready for bed and put her to bed. Watching some shows together and here I am sitting on the computer now!~

today-- I have to be up at 7 for baby Emma to come over. I will get to play with Hailey and emma most of the day. Do breakfast, baths, clean up toys, put down for naps, make lunches, clean up after meals, do an art project, feed girls a snack, get some laundry done in there, maybe find time to do something for myself. Then I have to go to my MRI we will come home and make dinner and hopefully just relax as a family and clean up the house!

Later tonight-I sorta already did this but I am sure I will spend some time on the computer checking emails and such. I am sure I will be folding laundry while possibly watching a show or two. Hanging out and relaxing with the fam. Reading Hailey stories and putting her to bed.

tommorow-Tuesday is library day. I know we will head there and then most likely I will be taking Hailey to lunch somewhere with a play land. We may go shopping or just hang out at home. After the library and lunch we just play it by ear!

this year - I would like my back to get better. COntinue to eat healthier, Lose at least 20 more pounds if not more. Buy a house or move for sure, pregnant, strenghten our family relationship, try to be a better person. Make more money...got any suggestions on that one! THat is just a few of my goals for the year!~

Wierd Sleeper...

SO about a week ago (I know took me a while to upload!) I walked into Hailey's room to check on her and this is what I found. I have no idea how she was really sleepign but she was hanging half off the bed. Kids are so sillY!`

Yup two new receipes in one week. I am on a roll. Tonight we had mexican and it was really good. Even Jared who isn't a big tomato fan really liked it. So yummy and super fast to prepare. Here is the receipe....

So I hate to make new things. I am always worried they will not turn out right or my family will hate them. Well since I joined weight watchers a lot of the stuff I liked to make was a ton of points. So I finally decided to be brave and try a new receipe...Old Fashioned Chicken Pot Pie. Instead of frozen veggies I used fresh. It was a little bit of a pain to cut everything up but it tasted oh so good. I wanted to eat the whole pan!

Library Day...

Every Tuesday we go to the Library. Hailey has so much fun taking her books, movies and cds back and of course picking out tons of new ones. SHe was so cute at the library today. She just wanted to sit in the cool chairs and quietly read books. She looked like a pro. I am glad that she enjoys reading and finds entertainment in our trips to the library. All afternoon she has been checking out her books. Gotta love kids books! Sorry this is a lame blog but i love how excited she gets over books!

Poor Little Hailey...

so she hasn't been feeling the best for the past week and has had a ton of congestion and a bad cough. We kept thinking it was a cold and that it would pass. Well tonight her congestion got a lot worse and she was having a hard time breathing so Jared said we should talk her in. Well of course I am glad we did now because she has a sinus infection. They are putting her on a antiobiotic for ten days nad hopefully she will be feeling better soon. I feel so bad for her when she is sick so I hope the medicine works quick!


ON another note we had an awesome experience today. We have some old friends who used to live in our ward that got married not too long ago. Well mabye it was a few years back. It all runs togehter now. Well anyways they blessed their baby and invited us to come be part of it. It was such a heartwarming experience to see their new little family adn the love that they had for little Addy. I got all chocked up to see how precious Clegg was when it was time to bless her. I love seeing how much peace, happiness and joy and infant brings to the family. I was glad that we could be there and share in the special moments with them. I love new families and of the course the darling babies! Plus the food after was great. Beverly's cookies and salad were to die for! Gotta love teh treats right!!! Happy Valentine's DAY...to our little CHEF!!!

For Valentine's Day we decided to spoil Hailey a little. Hailey has been eyeing a pink unicorn at the store and I found this one for pretty cheap so we decided she could get it. She went nuts over it too! I also got her a new Barbie Rapunzel movie. Drue and Shantel gave her the Barbie Island Princess for Christmas and we watch it all the time! LOL SO we needed a different one to listen too...and last and my favorite is her new apron and hat. She is still loving using it and cooking us food! We love you cute little Hailey!

Krispy Kreme....

After making our super cute craft today we decided to go to Krispy Kreme so the kids could get a heart shaped donut. They were oh soo good and the kids has a ball!

A Valentine's Craft....

Today we got to go to one of our favorite friends houses...Christian & Andrew....we had so much fun making these cute Valentine's crafts. I never got a picture of the finished product but we painted the egg carton and glued them on another peice of paper to be hearts. Hailey loved it and couldn't wait to show Jared. SHe thought painting was pretty cool and had never done it before. Thanks to Kate for the awesome craft!

My SWEET new ride!!!

Well as I am sure you are all aware the gas prices have been outrageous lately. Needless to say our Trailblazer was not cheap to fill up. Jared and I had been talking about trying to get a lower payment and save money on gas as well. So here you have it. We found a great deal where we coudl save in more ways then one! Here is our brand new 2008 Toyota Corolla. It was sad to give up the SUV but I am glad to have a car that I feel I can actually drive somewhere with out it costing me an arm and a leg!!! needless to say a million dollars! Plus i am going to love having a cheaper car payment!

You know you are a mom when....

you are driving down the road jammin' out to the Wiggles and then you realize you are in the car all alone with no kids! LOVE IT!

Hailey or Dora?????

Hailey has been so funny the past few days. She keeps asking me to call her Dora. I have been playing it up and teling her Hailey is missing and I can only find Dora....also she has named her baby boots too....Dora's best friend. Even in the stores today I had to call Dora's name to get Hailey to obey me. She is too cute and I love her imagination.

Also tonight I decided to take Hailey swimming while Jared was working. Hailey loved swimming by the way but of course she wnated to be called Dora only. And I kept getting play by plays of what "Dora" was doing. After a little bit of swimming Hailey came up to me and put her arms aroun dme and said, "I'm Dora and your boots!" I was so happy to hear her wanting me to be part of her imagination play and that she'd choose me to be Dora's best friend.

I love you to death Hailey. Thanks for having such a cute imagaination and keeping me on my toes!

Happy Early Valentine's to Jared!!!

ON friday night Grandma & Grandpa Lems planned to have all the kids over for a Valentine's Party! Therefore we got the night to go out without kids and it was such a nice treat. We deciced to splurge and make this our Valentine's treat since Hailey wouldn't be with us it woudl be a great time for us to bond. We really went all out and decided to head to Red Lobster for dinner. IT was oh so yummy and I still feel full from that meal. It was delicious after that we were able to go to the movies. It was great because we rarely spend the money to go out. I think it was great for Jared and I to get to go on a real date. I know I enjoyed it a lot. So since we were celebrating today I gave Jared our gift. Hailey and I decided to get some pictures done of us for Daddy's office. Here is the finished product:



Hailey and I were very happy with how the pictures turned out. We hope Daddy will love showing us off at his work. Below are the actual pictures. THe first one of Hailey is the best. I love it. The studio also asked me to give them permission to use her photo. They really liked it too. Of course i gave them permission and I got a coupon to use next time!



So there you have it. Happy Early Valentine's to some of us! Jared is making me wait since he never made it out shopping this week. So I am sure I will be posting more on Valentines about the rest of the fun and the surprises that Hailey might be getting...well something small.

Sanctuary Day spa & random Hailey!!

So Thursday night I had the great opportunity of having some pampering time. Jared was so sweet and got me a gift certificate to Sanctuary Day Spa and Salon. He figured he would give me the opportunity to have yet another massage to see if it might help my back. Well not only did I have a great relaxing massage the whole process was awesome. I have been to some different Day spas but this place was exceptionally great. I Loved it. When I first got there I was taken to a locker room where a specific locker was waiting for me. They have you change into a robe and then you go out to a peaceful sitting room. They will bring you plates of snacks and there are drinks in there. The room had dim lights and a water fall thing with some nice music playing in the background. It was so peaceful. They also brought me a neck warmer that was heavenly. I would have like to keep that forever. After I sat there for a bit they came out with a huge bucket of super warm water and did a foot soak/massage, They rubbed dead sea salt on my feet and massaged them. It was great. I guess they do that with every service there. SO worth it. After which I was taken to another room where I got my massage. It was awesome and so wonderful adn much needed. It was nice to be able to relax and forget about the cares of the world. After the massage they gave me the best lemon water and i was able to go sit in the sauna, I didn't want to leave that place. it serioulsy was like Heaven on Earth and I can't describe how nice it was and how much it meant to me. Very well worth my money and evening!

Thanks Honey I love you. You can get me a gift certificate to go there any time. I just hope soon you will do a couples massage with me! LOve you

SO after I came home that night Haliey was having some issues nad dind't want to sleep in her bed. The only way she said she would lay down was if her animals were laying with her. What a nut. So here is Hailey's bed. I think she is on there somewhere! LOL

Prayer

Today Hailey came out of her nursery class carrying this rock. She was so cute and told me that we have to pray morning and night and leave this rock on our pillows to remind her. I almost was in tears. I can't believe that she actually goes to her class and listens to the lessons and can tell me about it. I am so proud of her and it is so fun to see her growing up nad learning more about the gospel each day. SHe sets a great example for me. Here are a few pictures of her with he rock.
