Back Yard Adventures!

So I found out about the best new play places. Backyard Adventures who does swing sets and such has several structures put together as well as blow up slides and such. They do birhtday parties and open play a few times a week. So we braved the snow today and decided to check it out. It was an awesome time! There is nothing like going to "indoor" park on a snowy cold winter day or a hot summer day! I am sure that we will be back soon. Just had to share a few fun pictures. I went a little nuts with teh camera. I am trying to learn to take better photos so sorry for so many!

Snow Day Craft!

After Lunch today we decided to have art time with our friend Emma. The girls enjoyed making their snowmans and Hailey was quite the little Miss Independent doingit all her self. Just had to share our fun!

In honor of President Hinckley's passing I am going to use this as my motto this week. This quote has always been one of my favorites so this week I am letting it be my inspiration. I hope i can do lots of stuff better.

I am so sad to hear the news about President Hinckley passing away. I have thought for several years that his health was declining and he probably woudl be around for much longer. However just getting the news was very shocking to me. I have several memories of President Hinckley and I am sad to know he won't be here on this Earth anymore. I am grateful for the opportunity I have had to get to know more about him and see him Lead the Church in these latter days. I am sure we will be hearing lots more about his passing soon but I wanted to write a quick note to let you all know how saddened I was to hear the news.

I did it....finally!!!

At Last! I finally made my card file. I have had the stuff for a while now but just never took the time to do. Well today I made time and i thought it turned out pretty cute. I am excited to have my card neatly organized and very accessible. Also I made another look book out of hte scraps. Enjoy!

Like Mother, Like Daughter.....

At night I like to be lazy and sit on my bed with the laptop to watch shows. While the other night Hailey wanted to be like Mom and was in her room doing this.....

Magazines!

One of my favorite things to do it take a long a bath night and read my magazines. It usually to be a nice quiet relaxing thing...until recently when hailey discovered that she likes magazines too. She alwasy wants to come take them from me. Well she has had these magazines for a few weeks and carries them all over the house. Just the other night I went in her room to check on her and found her asleep clunching the magazings. SO funnY!



PS She can find the Dora advertistment in record time now!~

Yet another Craft Day!

Our ward is going to be making these items at an upcoming activity so I had to put the samples together tonight. For some odd reason I wasn't really in the crafty mood but I need them for samples at church tommorow so here you have it. more crafts coming soon.

My Cutie Pie!

Today we got to go to lunch with Grandpa Awsumb at a yummy mexican restaurant called Pepper Bellys! It is always fun to go visit Grandpa and sneak him out of work for lunch. Hailey looked so cute today so I had to take some pictures of her. Her hair is getting so long so I was able to do something a little different today! Anyways just had to share my cutie adn tell Grandpa Awsumb thanks again for a fun yummy lunch!

Fashion Show

So I sold a few of Hailey's old clothes and made some money. And of course we just got a darling new spring/summer line in at Gymboree so I had to do some shopping! Good thing I worked some extra hours too! Hailey got spoiled a little. She never lets me try clothes on her...however today she let me try on most of the outfits. Just thought I'd share a few of my cute little one!

LOL Times ten!

Jared and Larisa are some good friends of ours that used to live in our ward. They moved to California but this video is priceless and made me laugh so hard. Please take the time to watch it! IT is so fun. Thanks so much Jared and Larisa....I haven't laughed that hard in a long long time!

Girls Night OUt....scrapbooking

I am thinking that maybe I shoudl just invite anyone over who is interested in making those address box files. I am also goign to do ones like that for cards. If you are interest we can buy stuff in bulk together and then each make our own. IF anyone is interested in coming at all just let me know we can figure out the details later. I just thougth I"d through that out. Also you are more than welcome to just come hang out or work on something else./ Leave a comment and let me know if you want interested and to what extent. Yummy Cookies!!

Hailey is finally getting old enough that she can help a little. Today she was the best helper and really helped me make cookies. SHe was so cute and picked out aprons for us both to wear and had oh so much fun helping. She was super cute. My pictures are a little grainy but you can still get the just of how much fun she was having. She couldn't wait to share some of her cookies with her favorite friends!

Valentines day crafts

So we had yet another craft night at our house tonight. I was feeling a little better so I decided to take on a small project. I got these cute little mail boxes in the dollar spot section of target. I just covered them with some cute paper and added some lettering. They turned out super cute and Hailey thinks it is a pretty cool toy. It was super easy and a fun valentines craft to make. I could have added a lot moe to them but we went for the simple look. ENJOY!

My NEW FAVORITE!!! Adress book!

So I have a new favorite thing that I have recently made. This is my new address box. I am so excited to have it. I alwasy have a address book wtih names and addresses scribbled out all over the place. I decided it was time to use something easier to replace addresses. HEre you have my card file of addresses.

I covered this cute tin with paper and put some ribbion and letters on it. I ran out of ribbion on the top but will get more to finish the handle all the way. Then inside I used chip boards for the dividers. I put cute coordinating paper on the chipboard and inked the edges. I then covered the smaller circles, inked them and stamped on each letter of the alphabet. Then I was finished! I wrote all my addresses in 3 x 5 cards adn it will be so nice fi I need to change an address I can just take the old one out and put a new one in. I love it! I was so happy with how it turned out.

Okay enough gloating now. I just had to share how excited I was about my fun little idea.

PS Next I am going to make a box like this to hold all my cards. That way I can sort them by birthday , holidays , thank you's blank notes...etc. I am sure you will see pictures of something like that all too soon! I can't wait to do another craft!
