Free day at the ZOO!!!

Today was free day at teh Hogle Zoo. Kate and I took the kids and had a great time. I think this was one of the best visits since Hailey is getting older and so into it. It really made for a fun afternoon. And of cours she actually let me get a few decent pics!

Today was Cowboy Day at preschool so Hailey wanted to wear her hat. I have to admit I thought she was pretty cute...oh and she wore her cupcake snow boots and told me they were cowboy boots! She is a nut. After school I asked her what she learned and she told me cow girls sit sideways to ride a horse becuase they wear dresses! I love the she enjoys preschool!

I stumbled on this photo today and I just have to say I love this little girl. Its amazing how big she is getting. She sure isn't this baby anymore!

Bare no more...

After a few weeks of being bare I took the plunge and went for the Valentine's Theme. I am in love with this door. I took the pictures at night so it is hard to see but the hearts are pink and red. I love it and I am glad at the last min I had Kimberly Print me some stuff! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

PS now that my door is decorated can I avoid pulling out the rest of the Valentine's decor...due to lazyness!!!???? HA HA

Good Friends...

I am so thankful for great friends. I have been friends with these girls since back in my school days and I am glad that I am lucky to be one of their friends. They are all super amazing and I love them to death. This week we were able to go to dinner and then bowling after and it was such a great night out for me. I have been really struggling lately..thats a whole other post...and it really cheered me up to spend some time with them. I am thankful for awesome long time friends who really know me and care about me. Thanks girls you rock! ROCK ON!!!

Citizens Police Academy

I was so excited in September when I was reading my West Jordan Newspaper and read about a Citizens Policing Academy. The blurb in the paper sounded very interesting and I was interested to find out more information about it. Well at a Neighborhood Watch Meeting I asked one of the people about it and she told me its a great program and told me to apply for sure. They only have so many open spots so its kind of hard to get right into. But I submitted my application, she called and recommended me to the program and within a day I received a call I was accepted to start in January. I have been super exciting and looking forward to it. It is a 12 week course I will be attending once a week for the next several weeks. So far it has been very informative and interesting to find out all the various police departments and what they do. I get to ride a long with a cop in February and I am super excited to see what they do. Overall I am just EXCITED...so if you hear me mention the CPA you will know what I am talking about.

Let's go swimming

Today we got to go swimming with Kate and her darling boys. I am too lazy to put the pictures in order and teh lighting was bad so the pics aren't the best. The kids had a blast and played forever in the pool. Makes me excited for this summer! Hailey was cute this morning she said Is it sunny by Kates so we can go swimming? APparently she thought we were going outdoors not inside ha ha! Enjoy the pics! Andrew!

This baby is so cute He almost...makes me want to do another big infertility push to see if I coudl get another one. At least Kate lets me enjoy him!

A date with Mommy

Hailey infomed me that we needed to go on a date together. Lucky for her we had two free movie tickets and a free popcorn so off we went. She picked to go see Alvin and The chipmunks the squeakil. SHe loved it and smiled the entire time. I Love that she brought her purse too with her toys from McDonalds in it. NOw we just need the full set. We are working on it ha ha! Sorry the picture sucks she saw the status and wanted a pic. I love spending time with Hailey!

Sledding 2010

Bright & Early this morning we got all bundled up and set out for some sledding fun. Hailey can't get enough of it and was sad when we left .I think we will have to go again soon. It's so much work to get all bundled up but its soooooooooo much fun! Enjoy the pics!

I shed a little tear...

OF course tonight I couldn't sleep and I ended up looking at some old pictures on my computer. I ran across these pictures of Hailey when she was close to two. She is now close to five. Where has all the time gone. I flipped through lots of pictures of her around this age and a baby and it makes me so sad at how fast she is growing up. She doesn't have that darling baby face anymore and is looking more and more like a little lady everyday. Most the time I am okay that we can't have another but seeing this today is bittersweet. It makes me wish we had those baby moments back AGAIN. It melts my heart a little to know we won't get to enjoy those fun moments again. But at least we have Hailey. And know for sure she is our MIRACLE BABY!

Lately she has been talking to us a lot about her upcoming birthday and turning FIVE. I know its not that old but man its making me feel old. I hate her growing up so fast. Today we drove by the Elementary school she will be attending this year. THIS YEAR my baby will start Kindergarten. Can she seriously be that old already? I feel like our days of freedom are already being limited and before we know it she will be in school full day everyday. Oh man what will I do without my best friend by my side. She definately brings joy to my lifes and I love her more and more each day. I didn't know I could love as much as she lets us. Just looking at her makes me grin and feel my love for her grow stronger. I love my little Hailey and I hate that she is growing up so fast. Sorry I had to share because its amazing how much she has changed in three years! My message to those of you with Little ones is....enjoy those moments I want them back!
