Great Grandma's Carnival

We were lucky enough to get to be invited to Great Grandma's Carnival tonight. Hailey had a great time and there was lots of fun things to do.

We played several games and even rode ponies

And won lots and lots of prizes!

Walk for a Cure

This is my neice Brittany. Here is a little about her:

Brittany is a loveable 11 year old girl with great hopes for the future. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her friends. She loves to be spontaneous and has a great love for life. She has learned to be a very responsible person, especially when it comes to her health.

At the age of 7, Brittany was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Her pancreas stopped producing insulin, which is essential for our body to break down the food we eat into energy. Without insulin our blood stream fills up with ketones which can ultimately lead to coma and death.


Brittany was fortunate to recieve good medical care and is now dependant on insulin to keep her alive. She wears a pump that gives her a continious stream of insulin around the clock. OH what do you do in the summertime..

Our family has a new tradition for summer time! We like to sit outside. Each night after dinner we pull out our chairs and relax in the fresh air. I think its one of the favorite parts of my day. I had to snap a few pics!

A new baby to Love

Last week our good friends/neighbors had their first baby boy. He is so stinking cute and we love him to pieces. I think Hailey is going to be his new "big sister!" Or at least she might pretend when he is around. She can't get enough! We love him!

Father's Day BBQ

Tonight we got to have a fun BBQ at my Dad's for Fathers Day. Hailey had a great time seeing the cousins and it was fun to sit outside and visit. Thanks Dad & Colleen.

Silly Cousins

Hailey loves all her cousins. These girls are a riot to watch when they get together. I am glad that they live close and she gets to spend lots of fun time with them! Hailey sure does love Amelia & Tessa

Ryan Shupe Concert

Jared surprsied me this year and bought me Season Tickets to the Sandy Ampitheater. There are several bands I love performing this summer but mainly he did it so I coudl get Colors tickets. They are hands down my all time favorite band. What a great guy Jared is! Last weekend we went to our first concert and it was oh so much fun. We even snapped a cute picture! Thanks Honey for buying the tickets!

Dress Up Days

Apparently the other day when I left Jared and Hailey home to run errands she was driving him nuts. Needless to say he pulled out the dress up bucket and she was in heaven. I love how she posed for him. She won't for me waht a stinker!
