Midway Ice Castles

A few weeks ago I read about the Midway Ice Castles online and was curious to check them out. When we pulled up and saw what they looked like from outside I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay the money to go in...Needless to say we figured we drove all the way and a nice lady gave us a half off coupon so we went it. WOW! I had no idea what was inside there. IT WAS AMAZING. I have to admit I was in shock the whole time amazed at how cool they were. Definately more than worth the money and something you don't see everyday. Hailey loved wandering around and finding new paths to go check out. I was just amazed at all the cool looking structures and I think Jared felt the same way I did too. By the end we were super cold but glad we made the trip. The only thing I regret is that I didn't take my nice camera. It didn't even dawn on me and the crappy point and shoot camera in my purse didn't get the best pictures but at least I know for next time. I just keeping thinking what awesome pictures I could have gotten! If you want to read more about it click here.

Room Makeover Part 2

I'm so excited we finally got the finishing touches done to  Hailey's room. She is loving her room and can't get enough of it. Plus side she's never slept so good. I think having her room all redone has been so refreshing for her she just loves it so much she sleeps so awesome. We are loving it! Hailey wanted dance stuff in her room so I showed her tons of dance quotes and told her to pick one for the wall. I was a little nervous at what one she would pick but was happy with her choice. She loved this quote. Its fun listening to her explain what it means to hear and it gives her room that much more meaning! I love how it turned out.  A zebra magnet board and trophy shelf...i'm assuming we will be adding me shelving soon but my original plan of putting an entire shelf across the wall was vetoed....so this wall may have more coming soon!!!

 Hailey saw this couch and wanted it so bad for her room. We told her if she wanted to sell some toys to earn the money for it she could get it. Of course she went right to it. I love walking into her room to find her relaxing and reading her book on her couch! Also its cute to see want stuff animals get arranged on it in the mornings!

 This striped wall makes me happy. For Christmas Hailey got a sparkly letter H we hung there as well as her dance team picture a zebra mirror and her foot prints from when she was a baby!

 Behind her door I added these hooks for all her purses and bags. I Love how its out of site when teh door is open!

 Could she be any happier? By the way my cute neighbor made her purple and black pillow cases with her name on them to match her room for Christmas. Fun stuff huh!

 Can you find geerta? Somewhere in there is Geerta and some other dolls. I love that she wanted to make sure they were still next to her bed! However she lets geerta have so many stuffed animals you can barely see her! hahah

 One of her favorites now is to wear her zebra jammies and be lost in her bedding!

 The beanie boos also love her new room and lining up in it!

Last but not least I had to add her name to the door again and some dancers!
