Halloweekend!

WE have had a fun few days celebrating Halloween. I think for sure I am ready to be done celebrating. Friday we got to go with my sisters kids to trick or Treat at Grandma & Grandma Lems work. Hailey loved it. Then tonight we went to Grandma & Grandpa Awsumbs to trick or treat with some cousins. Hailey had a great time and didn't want to stop trick or treating. Jared and I kept on treking in the rain with her until she was done. We had a great time/ Happy Halloween All!

Pumpkin Carving 2010

I had to brave it this year and carve pumpkins. Hailey never knew that people carved pumpkins and I never bothered to tell her. 1. I hate the messiness of it. 2. I never was a good pumpkin carver . 3. We were too cheap to buy pumpkins and take the time to carve them.  4. I think I haven't carved a pumpkin in like 20 years. Needless to say this year all she has been talking about is carving pumpkins. I so wish she wouldn't have found that one out haha! She was so excited that Gramdna Lems grew pumpkins and let her come pick them from her patch! That was an exciting adventure for her! Needless to say I bit the bullet and finally gave in. We invited our neighbors Nathan and Stephanie to join in the fun. We had a great time watching Hailey scream with panic as I shoved her hand in that pumpkin and she felt the the slimy guts. She did enjoy scooping it out but only with a spoon. I was quite proud of our finished products. Hailey drew hers out on paper and Jared helped her carve it. I decided to do a U. Goooooo Utes...and then it sort of looked like eyes nad a big smiley face so I made it a Ute Jacolantern. It was loads of fun. Enjoy the pics!

The Witches at Gardiner Village

We finally made it to Gardiner Village to see the witches today. Since I have been sick this whole month I was worried we wouldn't make it. However I decided today, despite still not feeling well, to get out and go! I can't believe how fast this month has gone but I am glad we did end up getting the chance to go. Hailey had a great time with her friends. Afterwards we stopped by a fun pumpkin patch. Enjoy the pictures!

Bedtime

I love when I walk into Hailey's room after she is asleep and find something like this. She had tucked Geerta nad a few other dolls in for bed. I think its so cute when she is so thoughtful of her dolls. And of course she never forgets to care for Geerta!

Farnsworth Farms

Today we went with our friends to Farnsworth Farms. It was a lot of fun. They had a pumpkin fest going on and lots of fun stuff for the kids. They had carnival games, a playground, pumpkin patch, hay rides, homemade donuts and fresh apple cider. IT was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it. Plus it was cheap and not crowded so it was a plus for us! Hailey was so excited to get out and do something fun. On the way home I asked her what her favorite part was and she said, (after thinking for a min)"My favorite thing was just being with my friends. As long as I am with my friends I am happy." I love that she loves her friends and she especially loves Andrew, Chrsitan and Owen! Thanks for inviting us Kate we had a great time.

PS Sorry for all my lovely typos I am sure this one is loaded. I took my contacts out and can barely see what I am doing!

Go Team Platinum!

I have been meaning to post about this since June but apparently I am slacking! Needless to say Hailey worked hard at the beginning of the summer and auditioned for a Competition Dance Team. She made Team Platinum and was so excited. They have been working hard and learning so much. She loves her dance classes and all her dance teachers. She can't wait till its time to go to dance. And I can't believe how much she is improving. She is doing a great job and we are proud of her determination and hard work. We sure love our Hailey! They finally got their team tank tops in and she was so excited to wear it. Needless to say they were too cute so I had to snap some pictures. I am so proud of you Hailey and all the hard work you put forth at dance! Go Team Platinum! Here team has 11 girls they just weren't all there when I snapped the picture.

THey say Synergy on the back and she thinks its so cool!

Kindergarten Halloween Party

On Monday Hailey's class got to dress up in their Halloween costumes and have a party. I was lucky enough to get to help with her party and it was lots of fun. They got to play tons of games and then they got a ton of treats. A lot of the kids in the class brought treats to share. They had a great time. I was in charge of Bingo and the kids won these silly eyes. Hailey loved it!

And Here is my cute Skelton...PS This costume was not my pick ... instead I decided to pick my battles. I had the best idea but she hated it so I said fine pick one and this is what we got. Oh wells at least she is happy!

Hailey and her friend Ariel oh wait I mean Abby!

Hailey and her teacher Mrs. Long.

It's nice that Hailey is now off track. I think I am going to enjoy a little break...however she is super sad! She sure loves school. Let our Fall Fun begin now that we have some free time!
