Christmas 2014

I can't believe Christmas has already come and gone. We had a great holiday season and hope that you did too. Hailey had a great time as usual and was so cute. This year I did homemade Christmas and had lots of fun making gifts for each person. I made quilts for Jared, Hailey and Toby. It was a fun project to take on. Here are some pictures of our family!

Tabernacle Choir Concert

This past weekend we had the opportunity to get tickets to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. We decided to make it a fun night. Hailey invited her best friend Elyse. We went to a nice dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. After dinner we stopped to see the famous candy windows and walk through some of Temple Square. We finished Temple Square after the concert. It was such a enjoyable evening and what a treat it was fun me to get to see the girls take in the sights and sounds of the holidays. Their is nothing sweeter than the innocence of a child and seeing Christmas through their eyes. I am glad as a family we could have this experience.

 The girls got a little silly towards the end of our late night but we were so cute all night!

Christmas Choir Program

Every Friday Hailey stays after school to participate in school choir. Last week they had their Christmas concert. It was fun to see the hard work pay off. She has really enjoyed participating and learning all kinds of things about music and the fun Christmas songs.

Alpine Live Nativity

At the beginning of the month we went to see a live nativity as a family. It was such an amazing experience and a great way to start off the holiday season. I am glad I could share this experience with my family and think of what it was really like when Jesus was born in Bethlehem.
