I am annoyed and irritated. It's been to many super long crazy weeks and they seem to be getting worse each week not better. Sorry this is just a rambling post but thought I'd update on a few things.

First off the good news is my throat is finally pretty much healed. However now I am suffereing 20% hearing loss from everything. The part where I am suffering the loss deals with the nerve in my ear. They are trying to treat it for two weeks and I go back in for another round of all the fun hearing tests a week from Monday. Let's hope its better by then. It is driving me nuts. I just want it all better and to stop bugging me. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever honestly recover from my tonsil surgery which has caused everything else going on. Then to top it all off my back has been horrible again lately but I don't have much time to deal with that. I was supposed to have a shot Monday but with everything going on I decided to push it back a few weeks. Hopefully that will give me some relief. I have come to the conclusion that I am probably going to have to just get those shots four times a year in my nerves to help my back survive. We shall see maybe I will get a miracle one day though.

So sorry for the long medical update. I haven't posted cause I know its boring but I like it for my own documentation. So next Tuesday night AUGUST 4th is the National Night Out Against Crime Activity. Since we are the neighborhood watch coordinators for our townhome assoaciation we have been working our butts off trying to put together an awesome party> Its been a lot of work and more than time consuming so I hope that people will come support us. We are having a bbq, games for kids of all ages, balloon acitivies, socializing, and raffle drawings for both adults and kids 12 and under. The crappy thing is we have a very small limited budget and most of that will be going to the bbq so we have had to come up with donations for everything else. Its been a nightmare contacting tons of places and then going ot have to pick up a donation but we have awesome prizes. I can't believe how generous local businesses have been to help support our cause. We have over 60 prizes and hope that we have that many in attendance so they all win a prize. We are telling people they have to be present to win! We got gift cards to various fast food and restaurants, grocery store giftcards, movie tickets, golfing passes, free food, and all kinds of other stuff. So if you live by me be at the event or you will be sorry!

I will be glad for sure when next Tuesday is over. You would not realize how much time and effort it takes to organize an event like that. If your neighborhood isn't doing an event find out why and get involved. Neighborhood watch is such a great program and its all about neighbors helping neighbors to limit the crime in their neighborhood! Sorry I am a big supporter and wish more people would realize the importance of supporting it.

Needless to say thats not all thats going on. I have been having a hard time lately. being sick isn't fun but I am sick and tired of all the added stress in my life. I am sick of feeling left out. I am sick of how things are going and its not fun to have a life like that. I wish others would realy realize that sometimes the choices they make and the way they treat others are very hurtful. It can be very damaging to them and not helpful when they are really struggling and in time of need. I won't go on any more as I could write millions of books on this subject but I do suggest please treat the people around you nicely and think of others or how their feelings might be if you were in their shoes.

Alright well HAPPY 7TH Anniversary Saturday to Jared and I. We have tons of family events and won't be celebrating...oh wait we never do but maybe Jared will feel guilty enough if he reads this and take me out sometime. I love you Jared thanks for all you do for me! Happy 7 years. I can't believe it has been that long! That makes me feel old!

Going for a walk...

Tonight we decided to go for a little walk and hang up signs for the awesome Neighborhood Watch Tuesday is having. If you live in Tuscany you have to come awesome prizes and everyone should win. When Hailey heard we were going for a walk she grabbed puppy and her stroller and was ready to go. I normally don't let her take the stroller out but I was nice today and let her, however it did have to be cleaned up before it was brought back in. She was so cute! OH no Mom I just killed a Potoao bug. I think it was a baby!

Mema is the best!!

So a while back I noticed my step Mom Colleen had the cutest purse. I asked where she got it and she told me her Mom made it. It was so cute I was drowling over them. Well come to find out Mema offered to make me on if I got the material. If you know me well I headed right to the store on the search for cute material. I had a hard time picking so I ended up going with two and send the material to my Dad's so she could get it. Much to my surprise when she handed me the purses tonight there were two surprises. Small matching ones for Hailey. I almost started crying it was so sweet of her to make those for us. Hailey was super excited and couldn't wait to get home to check them out. She already picked what one we will be using tommorow and loaded her goods in hers. She has her phone, sunglasses, chapstick, wallet, toy and a snack. I am so excited to be matching Hailey. I will have to get pictures with both of us later but I was dirty and nasty from sitting in the heat at the game. Thanks again Mema we can't thank you enough!

Sorry the pictures don't do the bags justice by that yellow wall. They are so cute though I jsut can't even tell you! Maybe I will try to get some better ones in the daylight. I was just too excited to wait!

3rd Times the charm!

We finally got a picture of Hailey and bumble. SHe was so excited and he even gave her a big hug. I think the picture turned out pretty cute!

Before the game there was a family fun fest tour with all kinds of fun bounce houses and baseball type games. Hailey wanted to make sure we went so of course we headed down to the field early. To our surprise teh kids got to have a magazine cover picture taken(the printer was a little red) and they got to have a baseball card made. She had so much fun tonight. We love the bees games!

Bees Game Take 2

Tonight we headed back to the Bees game for another round of fun and firework show. We went with Grandma & Grandpa Lems and had a great time. Hailey was all decked out for the ocassion and is now seriously in love with the mascot Bumble. I had to share these pictures cause I like themso much better than the other night. ENjoy!

She got this shirt free at the last game so I made matching bows and tried to make it more girly so she could wear it to the game!

Happy 24th of July

Today we had a fun filled day hanging out together as a family. I enjoyed sleeping in while Jared and Hailey watched the parade on TV. Hailey was so excited for it. This afternoon Jordan Landing was hosting their first annual Taste of Jordan Landing. Basically you paid $5 and got 15 tickets to use at the different booths to taste their food. Alot of the restaurants around Jordan Landing were there letting you see what they had. We even got a sweeter deal by bringing food to donate to the Food Bank so we got our tickets for $3 each. It actually ended up being so much food and so many tickets we had to give some away. We sure were full. They has some yummy food such as mini burgers, rice bowls, sushi, thai food, Indian food, Rubios tacos, ribs, crab legs...etc. Hailey enjoyed getting her face painted at the festivities. Tonight we decided to hang out at home and do some fireworks. Hailey did sparklers for the first time and seemed to enjoy them. We hope you all had a happy Pioneer Day!

Bees Game

Tonight we went to the Bees game and had so much fun. Hailey loved everything and especially the mascot Bumble. She kept close eyes on him. SHe got a free shirt and spoiled by Daddy with a hand. She had fun cheering the team on. They had fireworks after and those were fun too. We had so much fun we get to go back saturday night for another game and fireworks as well as Monday night. Thanks to some of the Grandparents winning free tickets and sharing with us. Enjoy the pics!

Boating

Today we got to meet Grandma & Grandpa Lems at Pineview for a day of boating fun. The kids were so excited and couldn't wait to arrive. When we arrived Colin noticed the Guy camping next to Grandma & Grandpa had a pet parrot so we had to go visit it. Later before we left he let the kids all give it some food. They were pretty excited. We had fun playing on the boat, skiing, tubing, rope jumping, swimming and most of all playing in the sand. I think Hailey has never been covered so much in her life. She did tell me though this is the best day ever. Thanks for a fun day!

PS I did end up getting on a new antiobiotic but haven't noticed any change yet. I hate this pain and it is awful and has made no improvement yet.

A boring medical update...

So I have not been much into blogging lately. IN my spare time I have been dying of pain. My throat has still been hurting pretty bad and it pushes pressure up into my ear which is not fun. I have been trying to just work past the pain but I end up taking pain pills and still in pain and up all night long. Needless to say I finally called the ENT because I shouldn't still be in pain. He got me in last week and my right side looks awesome. it is totally healed and feels fine. However my Left side still has scabs and is not completely healed. HE was shocked to see that as by now it should be fine. A month after surgery you should be all well again. Needless to say it was good I called him. He put me on meds three times a day and then we were going to do that for a week and see how it was doing. Well its been three days and I am still in just as much pain. I will be calling him again tommorow. He said after the week if I wasn't feeling better they'd put me on an antiobiotic to make sure there was no infection. So needless to say tommorow I am hopefully going to get him to start that. If it isn't better in a week we will have to do some xrays and stuff and look further into why I am still in so much pain. I know sometimes I can be a difficult person...but come on does it always have to be this way in life. Ha ha. I will keep you all posted but I just hope I get better soon> This pain is awful!

My Motto for the week

It only Tuseday and we have already been out swimming three different times and probably a total of 8 hours maybe more./ So this is the motto for the week. I am pretty sure we will be out the next few days as well. Hailey doesn't let too much time pass before she gets me out again.

Katie's Birthday Party

We celebrated my birthday tonight with my Mom and Ben as well as the Rallison family and Great Grandma. My actual birthday isn't till Monday but we had to party early. We had a yummy bbq for dinner and then my cute friend Ginger made me a cake that was perfect for me. It had a Target and gymboree bag on it. It was so cute. After the party we had to watch "Confessions of a Shopaholic" since I am a shopaholic! Ha ha. It was a fun afternoon. Oh and I got to play in the rain that was pelting down wiht Colin. That was so fun!

PS The best part of today was getting Colins card that said, "You are the best ANT!" I love that!

Primary Song

Hailey came home from church today and was so happy to sing me a new song she learned. It was too cute. SHe told me the pioneers had to walk a lot and the kids got tired! I love how much she learns at primary! Sorry they were uploading wierd..

Herriman Splash Pad

Today we went with some friends to the Herriman Splash Pad. Last time I took Hailey there she cried and wouldn't play so I was a little nervous but she had a ball. Enjoy the pics!
