Showtyme Classic Competition 2014

 We had our first competition last week. I was so proud of Hailey and her team. Hailey did an awesome job. Her team got 3rd in Jazz, 2nd in lyrical and 2nd in hip hop. It was an early morning and late night but they sure did dance their hearts out and I could tell Hailey gave it her all. This year with our dances being on the stage I have to learn better how to work getting good pictures. Stage lighting is a nightmare so I am excited to learn to conquer it this year! These pictures are extra dark but I learned this time and can hopefully work harder and get better shots next time. one thing I love about competition season is taking pictures of my dancer! Team Showcase Spring 2014

Hailey had her team showcase today. It was such a treat to watch how far she has come as a dancer this year. I can tell that she goes to class each week and works extra hard. Such a rewarding day for me as a parent to see that hard work pay off. This year she will be in four dances including: her solo, team lyrical, team jazz and team hip hop. Its going to be a crazy competition season but I am so excited to see her dance her heart out. Great job today to Hailey and all the amazing Synergy Dancers!

 Below is her hip hop. They have a mix of songs and are zombies and little girls. Hailey gets pretty serious about her zombie role and I love watching her facials!

Utah Dance Expo Competition Weekend

This weekend we participate in our first competition of the season. Our teams were exhibition only so Hailey didn't do all her dances but what she did was amazing. I haven't seen her dances this year and boy was I surprised to see them! Hailey also did her solo on Friday night and did amazing. She got third place. We are so proud of all her hard work. Great job Miss Hailey!
