Christmas 2012

We had a great Christmas this year. Hailey was so excited to get a kindle fire and Jared spoiled me with an IPAD! I have been wanting one for a few years but we never do gifts for each other. This year was supposed to be the same but the turkey hid it from me and surprised me Christmas morning. What a treat! I am glad he thought of me but I wish I could have surprised him to. We enjoyed spending our Christmas together as a family...and the week after we painted our house....more pictures coming soon!

Christmas Eve 2012

We had a great Christmas Eve! I'm too lazy to move pictures around so it goes how it goes sorry! We started out the day at Grandma & Grandpa Awsumbs. Hailey enjoys getting to see her cousins and always play with Grandpa's silly games. We enjoy getting to visit with everyone else as we don't get to see everyone as much as we'd like. 

After that we came home and opened jammies! We decided to be funny this year and buy some for Geerta...Hailey was beyond excited...she loved it! We went for a ride and looked at lights then Hailey read us the Traditional Christmas Eve Stories. It's fun that she can read now. I wish I'd have taken a picture but oh wells! 

 So excited about my Arches puzzle since I hike to that arch this summer!

 Hailey loves Grandma & Grandpas cute dog Kona. I even like her and I'm not a huge animal fan!!!

Christmas Dress 2012

So back in September while running some errands I came across the PERFECT... and I mean PERFECT Christmas Dress for Hailey. The older she gets the more opinionated she has become about style and such but I knew this dress would for sure be a keeper. Of course I brought it and she loved it....flash forward to the first Sunday in December. We go to put this dress on and its too small. Are you kidding me she has grown that much in two months? I was devastated  I mean come on its already a crazy month and then on top of it to go find a Christmas Dress on empty racks now too. But as a Mom what am I to do. So I went to several stores and we settled on this one. I do have to admit I think its pretty cute on her as well! I also love that I asked Jared to snap a few pictures me for and she must have been in a modeling mood as this is what I got!!!

Temple Square 2012

The past few years we haven't taken the time to go to Temple Square and see the Lights so we thought it was a must do this year. We decided to make an afternoon of it and rode trax, shopped city creek, at dinner and then enjoyed the lights. It was a fun evening but I have to admit my favorite party was at the end when Hailey said, "I'm done, I'm done, I'm done!" Apparently she'd had enough. It was too long of a day for her!

Gardner Village Elves 2012

Its always been a tradition to stop and see the elves at Gardner Village. Now that Hailey is older its fun to see how much she remembers and notices when they change them around and stuff. This is always a fun night for us!

 She even got spoiled with a new beanie boo...her latest collection and want....its a christmas puppy!

Rio!

Last week Hailey had the opportunity to perform her trio at the Drill Team Showcase. I was so proud of how well they did. We still have a few months till competitions but they did awesome. Here are a few pictures!
