Somedays are hard...

and for several reasons this has been one of them. I guess everyday has its ups and downs but some seem to have more downs then ups! Needless to say my cousin told me about this blog and it really touched me. I constantely am dealing with issues related to infertility. A year ago we went through some of this stuff she describes and when we were unsuccessful we tried to accept the fact that it was our last big push and Hailey is all we get. However lately I especially have been second guessing and having doubts. I don't know why but reading this post tonight was bitter sweet. I love when people are willing to share their story and feeligs with others. Its nice to know that others have the same thoughts and feelings as me. Anyways i don't know why I am posting this but if you get a chance its a great and very informative blog post.

Once in a blue moon...

I can make my hair straight. I am lazy and hate how long it takes to blow it out but maybe every five to ten years I do! Haha. Jared teased me he doesn't think I have done this since we have been married and that will be 8 years in August. Hailey thought I looked wierd. I don't think she is used to looking at me without curly hair. I want to try hers next! And it was fun having it straight so maybe I will do it again soon!

PS Don't you love how Hailey so kindly jumped right in the pictures? Why won't she randomly pose great for me!

Our Little Artist

Hailey has recently taken a new liking to her Magna Doodle. Everytime we walk by we are amazed at what we see. And of course these pictures were just as stunning.... You know how much Hailey is in love with Baby Geerta....welll....

look at how detailed she can draw her. She got her dimples and even the bunny on her outfit. I was cracking up at how detailed it was. Is this a sign she really is turning five in a few days?

Then she erased that and drew this picture for me of "Baby Rachel" Rachels hat has two things that stick up and of course Hailey got those. I love the eyelashes too. I am amazed at how great of a artist she is. I can't even draw a flower! haha

After I took a picture of her drawings she wanted me to keep on snapping ones of her and her babies so I did....

DISCLAIMER>......Yes my child is wearing Christmas Pj's in March. Normally I'd have a heart attack over that. Needless to say this is one worn out and overly busy/stressed Mommy so I pick my battles....And yes she wore an outfit with snowflakes on it and flip flops to preschool...that makes me feel like I am failing as a Mom. I prefer her to be perfect and dressed to a T!!!!

Pampering...

Sometimes we all need a little bit of pampering. However I was much much over due. Lately I have been running crazy and feel like we hardly have time to breathe. The other night I was able to get my nails done and a pedicure. I think its been almost two years since i had my last pedicure and boy was it wonderful. I forgot how enjoyable that is. I need to get them more often and obviously it was much needed! Hailey snapped this pictures for me to p9ost on my blog!

McKenzie & Hailey

Today we were lucky enough to get to play with Kenzie while Shantel helped at Kolby's school. Hailey had a great time and we hope she gets to come play again sometime and even Kolby too. THey are welcome anytime. Hailey and Kenzie got a kick out of the laundry basket I had just emptied. I used my crappy camera but I had to snap a picture. They woudl keep coming by with something diferent every time. Once it was filled with Kenzie, barbies, babies, kenzie with a pillow and blankets, etc. IT was awesome! They were so cute together.

Its that time of year again...

we started back up with swimming lessons today. Hailey was so excited. I am happy she loves it and still remembered it all from last year. She will be going three times a week so my days are going to be busy with all her other activites too but at least we have something fun to look forward to. Sorry the pictures in the pool were awful cause of the lighting but I still had to snap one! Yeah for swimming and spring/summer coming in a while!!!

The Best Daddy ever...

The other night Hailey and Jared were playing so cute. He is going to kill me for posting this but i had to share what a cute Daddy he is. Both Hailey and I love him to pieces. I love how she made him pick a stroller, baby, cell phone, sunglasses and a purse. She sure is a little Diva. Sorry Jared but just know we love you and your the best dad ever!
