Summer loving! Pool life!

There is never a dull moment at our pool! We have been keeping busy and keeping cool! I hope to be doing a blog update soon!

Rodeo..

Last weekend we were able to go to the Rodeo! Hailey was so excited when I told her I got free tickets from work. Since I was given four tickets we let her pick a friend to bring and she picked Tessa. They were so giggly and funny to watch all night. Half way through Tessa fell asleep.......she did wake up at the end for a few minutes....needless to say I think they had a great time!!

Happy 4th of July 2012

We had a super busy but fun fourth of July! We started our morning early with a wonderful breakfast provided by another one of the Volunteers and their family for all the Police and their families. It was fun to take Hailey and Jared to that and share my family with those who I work with. After break fast Jared and Hailey headed to the West Jordan Parade and I headed into work. It was interesting working my first parade. Being on the other sides of the lines gives you a different perspective on parades. After that we came home relaxed for a few minutes and headed out to Sandy City for their fun festivities. We enjoyed their nighttime parade, activities and fireworks. We had a great time being together as a family. Despite me being sick all seemed to go well. We hope you enjoyed your 4th of July too. FYI I went to the Dr. this morning and ended up having and ear & sinus infection and bronchitis....no wonder I barely made it through the day!!! No more 1st grader at this house....

"I just can't believe I'm already a second grader," says Hailey! I know its hard to believe but we are finally on the road to SECOND grade. Hailey ended her 1st grade year great. Her teacher was amazing and saved so many things that we have enjoyed spending the last few days looking back at how much she has learned and grown! Its amazing to see what one little girl can learn in a year. Jared and I are so proud of Hailey and all the hard work she puts into her school work. A few weeks before school ended her grade had a cute first grade singing program for the parents. I really enjoyed getting to hear songs that they learned each month of the year. Also the last week of school they were awarded the Distinguished Cub Award. To get the award each student has to achieve certain academic goals decided by the school. The kids have to complete a certain number of requirements but Miss Hailey completed them all. I couldn't be more proud. Way to go Hailey on a fantastic school year and Good luck with 2nd grade....not lets enjoy summer time before it all starts up again!!!

Tumbling Review 2012

Saturday Hailey had her tumbling review. It's always fun to see all the crazy tumbling things the girls learn each year. Hailey has done a great job and  I look forward to watching her for many years to come. Way to go Hailey!!!
