Our Dear Beloved Geerta

Geerta,

You are my favorite doll in the whole wide world. When I was two months old my Mom flew to California for her Grandpa Awsumbs funeral. It was technically my first trip so Mom had to buy me a souvenir. She ended up spending three dollars on you at Walmart. You immediately became my favorite doll. I can't get enough of you. I named your Geerta but sometimes we call you gerrtie for short. I makes sure you are well taken care of all the time. WHen I got to school I give my mom specific instructions on how I want you taken care of. I make sure you are always happy and I like to take you places with me. I really miss you when you aren't with me. I love you so much Geerta and I am glad your my favorite pal.

Shopping

So tonight after dinner we were just hanging out and started singing the Fun To Do song. Hailey was making up stuff when all the sudden she said wait...got her stroller..and began singing this...She is my daughter for sure! Shopping is fun to do!

Hailey must have learned this song at preschool cause she has been singing it all day to me!The words are:

Stars Were Gleaming

In primary last week the kids began learning this song for Christmas. Hailey has been practicing all week. She really loves to sing!. Here are the words that she sings:

Stars were Gleaming, Shepherds Dreaming And the night was dark and chill. Angels story rang with Glory Shepherds heard it on the hill Ah that singing hear it ringing earthward winging Christmas bringing..Hark and we can hear it still.

Only a few months later but I finally got family pictures up and my quote. It took me so long I almost feel liek its time to update again. NOT I won't be doing that for a while but I am happy with how well it turned out!

Now I need to decorate my new table and find a place for my temple picture!

School Pictures

I about died today when Ms. Rebecca handed me Hailey's school pictures. She is so grown up looking. I quickly scanned it in so sorry the quality isn't the best. I hate how big and grown up she is getting!

Halloween!

I am sad to say this but by the time Halloween came I was done for the week. We had lots going on and lots of parties however I knew Hailey would still be just as excited! We go to go up to Grandpa Awsumbs and trick or treat with some of our cousins. I think my favorites are Grandmas yummy soup and getting treats while we are out like hot dogs and hot chocolate and this year there was even donuts! Can't beat that kind of trick or treating. Hailey had a great time and her favorite was the Cinderella toothbrush she got! After the kids were tired and worn out we went back to check out our loot! I think the kids enjoyed being together and getting lots of treats! Half way through the night Hailey was holding Kenzie's hand and helping her it was soooo cute!

After Trick or Treating we had to hurry to get me to Insta Care. I have been having some serious issues with my hand and I couldn't take the pain any longer. Well come to find out I was diagnosed with a sever case of carpel tunnel. I need to meet with a surgeon and get it fixed. Yeah for me... I don't know if I cried in that Doctors office more over the pain or the fact that I just can't catch a break. I guess the good thing is if we get it done this year my insurance is now maxed so it won't cost us....However who knows when it will all happen. I will get in touch with the specialist in the morning and go from there!

Great Grandma's Trick or Treat Party

Today has been quite the fun day...Earlier this afternoon we got to go to Grandma & Grandpa Lems work for Trick Or Treating. Hailey has a blast. After that we headed down to say hi to Daddy dressed up in our costume. Last but not least was Great Grandmas Trick or Treat Party. Hailey has been waiting all day to go and was so excited. She loved going from house to house and getting candy. And she came home with quite the haul...we don't even need to go out tommorow but of course she still wants too. I was surprised when we came home to find her sorting it all out by what it was. She is such a smart girl and always amazes me...Here are some pictures sorry they are out of order! Preschool Halloween Party

Thursday afternoon was Hailey's preschool Halloween Party. She was so excited to get dressed up and see what costumes here friends were wearing. She loved the games and had a great time. Thanks Ms. Rebecca for all you do!Most of the preschool kids

Halloween Car Show

Tonight was the annual Trunk or Treat Car show. Due to the snow and cold weather it was poorly attended but we still went for a few mins and then headed back to Grandma & Grandpas for Pizza. Thanks for dinner and letting us come over for a bit. Hailey had a great time and its always fun to dress up in your costume!
