Grandma Lems Egg Hunt

On Saturday night we went over to Grandma & Grandpa Lems. Grandma bought us all a yummy dinner of Cafe Rio for the adults and Wendys for the kids. Before Dinner she had a small egg hunt for the kids. They each had a certain color eggs to find and loved it! The best part was the dollar bills they found inside the eggs! After the boys went to Priesthood Session Grandma took us all to get a new pair of flip flops. Thanks Grandma & Grandma Lems.

Easter palooza

Today we were invited to go have lunch with some of my cousins and an egg hunt. We had a great time and Hailey enjoyed making new friends with my cousins wifes sisters kids...that was too confusing. Needless to say I hope they invite us again next year. It was good times!

Citizens Police Academy Graduation

On Thurday night I became an official graduation of the West Jordan Citizens Police Academy. Its hard to believe its been twelve weeks since I posted this about my excitment of the class I was just starting. I have looked forward to Thursday nights and attending my class the past few months. I am sad its already come to an end. It has been a great experience for me. I have learned many new things and I have a new love and appreciate for the police force and what they do for us. I enjoying participating in many real life experiences similar to what our officers do. I enjoyed going to a shooting range and firing a gun for my first time, seeing the insides of the Salt Lake County Jail, touring the center where all calls are first taken, learning about the various things police officers train in and do, riding along with an officer on duty, and probably the most real life changing scenario of clearing out a building with shooters inside. I had to step out of my comfort zone to try some of these things but they are experience I woudn't have had if I didn't. The class was awesome and I highly recommend it to everyone. On Graduation Day we got a certificate, a polo shirt and nice glass cup. I got to bring Hailey and Jared and it was fun to let them see a glimpse of where I have been going for the past few months. It was a great celebration in deed. After compeleting the course you can apply to the VIPS program., which is Volunteering In Policing Service. I signed up and it may take a few months as the process to get volunteers is slow, however hopefully soon I will be able to dedicate some of my time to help the West Jordan Police Department. I look forward to serving those who dedicate their lives to serve us!

New dress...

Well I feel in love with a few dresses this year but never picked a specific Easter dress for Hailey. I figured Easter is on General Conference Sunday so why bother. Needless to say she just got two cute new spring dresses. Today I let her wear this one for the first time. She has been begging too. I have to admit she looked so cute and grown up! And of course she loved teh matching accessories that I had to get her especially the purse. Anyways hers a few cute pictures!

Great Grandma's Egg Hunt

Today we were lucky enough to be invited over to Great Grandma's for the kids Easter Egg Hunt. Hailey has been so excited and couldn't wait for Saturday to come. She loves Great Grandma and we enjoy the fun activities her place hosts. I am too tired to put teh photos in order. We got to visit with Great Grandma, have an egg hunt, and then a yummy breakfast for muffins, juice/milk, and cinammon rolls. Thanks to Grandma Lems & Great Grandma for inviting us!

The Easter Bunny even came...However Hailey said it wasn't the real Easter bunny she saw hair that didnt' match. So it was someone dressed up. SHe is starting to clue into things too fast! haha

The loot...all the kids scored tons of candy and she had no help. She'[d also go to a whole pile of candy and just pick up one piece. IT was super cute!

SHe was sure proud and was so nice to even share some of her candy.

Notice teh huge pile of candy.; Yup she'd only pick up one piece and move to another area. It was cute to watch and see that she wasn't completly greedy. She had a perma grin!

A little survey...

I saw this on my cousins blog and thought why not do it too. So this girl is trying to gather research about blogging for her thesis. I think thats awesome she is doing it about blogging. Hoppy Easter

Today we surprised Grandma Lems at work with this "Hoppy Easter" basket. She loved it and I was happy it turned out well. the vinyl is hard to read but it has a bunny and says "Hoppy Easter!"And Hailey can't wait to share these small ones with her preschool friends! I loved how they turned out so I had to share a quick picture!

I have been working hard on boutique stuff so here are a few more sneak peaks. Don't forget the boutique will be held SATURDAY APRIL 17TH FROM 10-3PM

It will be held at the West Community Center at the University Village in Salt Lake City. 1925 Sunnyside Avenue. park in the LDS Church parking lot and follow the balloons. I hope to see you there! I am getting all too excited but nervous too!

Swimming Lessons

Happy 5th Birthday to our special HAILEY!!

I can not believe five years ago today we were awaiting the arrival of our beautiful Hailey! She is so special to us and it took a lot of time for her to get us. SHe is such a sweet girl and we love her to pieces. We are so thankful for the miracle we had to get her here. We love you very much Hailey. You are perfect in every way and so beautiful! Happy 5th Birthday!
