Scooting around

Hailey's new favorite thing to ride is her scooter. She is a little timid and afraid but did better today then yesterday...And she told me we have to wear our gear or we can't ride. SHe's such a nut!

Today we had our family pictures done by Silverscape Photography. We normally do our pictures once a year but never did last year and I have been so sad since. Well I finally said we are doing this and made an appointment to get them done. I have been so stressed out about them but I was so pleased tonight and I haven't even seen the pictures yet. Mandi was awesome to work with and very thoughful. SHe was extra prepared to keep Hailey happy and even brought a few surprises for her alone the way. Mandi seems very talented and I know I will be happy with all the pictures she took. I can't wait to see them and share them with all of you. I can't wait to fill my empty wall that I have been meaning to put family pictures on for a year now! I am sure it will be hard to narrow it down to the ones I like. Thanks again to Mandi for working with us. Your awesome!

Demolition Derby

Tonight we headed out to the Salt Lake County Fair for the Demolition Derby. We had so much fun and the best part was the Truck event. I have never seen one of thsoe before but it was AWESOME! Hailey loved seeing Uncle Brian, Grandma & Grandpa Awsumb and her cousins. IT was a fun night! Uncle Brian and some of the kids...

Monday afternoon Hailey informed me I was the best Mom ever. I have been lazy this summer and we haven't play in our small pool or sprinkler more than the one time. I decided we should play out there this afternoon. Hailey had a blast even though none of her friends could come play. And of course since I let her go out there I was the best Mom ever for once. It's funny to see how afraid she is of the cold water. But if it is a real pool she would have been all the way in!

She loves her water baby Megan and makes sure she plays in the cold cold water!

We used the sprinkler for all of about two mins and then she was done!

I want to be a rockstar!!

Hailey woke up Sunday morning so excited to tell me that Uncle Brian has a guitar and he was going to play it for them later that night. Well needless to say he even let her try it and she wants one of her own now. She found a pretty cute barbie one with headphones and stuff at Target that we might be begging Santa to bring. Thanks to Uncle Brian for letting us be rock stars!

A birthday, a wedding, a family bbq, and an anniversary...

Today was quite the eventful day. It overwhelmed me just thinking about it. Jared has to work this morning and then we go to go to a birthday party for Cousins Parker. I was lazy and didn't take any pictures but Hailey has a blast playing with and seeing Parker. After that we headed to my Moms for a dinner with Uncle Brian since he is in town. After that we got to go to my cousin Suzannes wedding reception tonight. Hailey has a blast and was in love with Julia my cousin Clark & Shannon's baby. I think she'd have taken her home with her. They were cute walking around together!

And after the wedding reception we were kind of mean and decided to send Hailey home with my Mom so we could have a quick anniversary dinner. We went to Trio and it was oh so good. I can't believe its already been an amazing 7 years. I love Jared to death and I am grateful to have him in my life. I know I wouldn't be who I am today or where I am without him. I Love you Jared!

Uncle Brian

Uncle Brian has been in Africa again this summer but came to Utah to visit for a week before he heads back to school in Atlanta. Hailey has enjoyed seeing him but apparently doesn't like when he makes her change the name of her puppy. She told him she wasn't teasing but telling him the right way! Its always fun to see Uncle Brian!
