I felt a little crafty today...

I felt like doing a project today so I decided to make some cards and also do another thing I have been wanting to do. The cards turned out cute but I am not so sure about the other. I guess i need to keep working with it. Enjoy!

So I have been dying to make this pumpkin with scrapbook paper. However I don't love how it turned out. I was hoping to find a better stem and maybe I still will change that to make it look better. In the meantime it can sit in the closet..the idea was cute but we shall see if it I ever make it better!

"I"m so glad my Daddy won us free tickets to the circus"

OH my goodness Hailey couldn't have been more excited tonight. About two months ago I got a call from Jared and he said, "So I just won free tickets to the circus." I made the mistake of telling Hailey and she has been oh so excited. We got four tickets and since Papa Lems usually works Thursday nights we invited Grandma to come with us. We missed Papa and were sad that he did end up having the night off. Hailey's shirt today says CHATTERBOX and it couldn't have been more fitting. SHe talked non stop and couldn't stop telling us how glad she was that Daddy won free tickets to the Greatest Show on Earth. It was fun to see her so excited and now we can all say we have experienced a circus. And its a good thing it was free or else we woudln't have gone. Thanks to Grandma for coming with us and spoiling Hailey just a little! We had a great time! Hailey is sound a sleep with all her treasures!
Grandma got Hailey a snowcone in a elephant cup!

This was Hailey's face as the circus was starting! All GRINS!

I think her face tells you how she liked it!
And much to our surprsie Parker, Kolby and Kenzie were just a few rows down from us. Parker wouldn't be in my picture but Hailey sure enjoyed seeing her cousins!

The great State Fair

We had free tickets to the state fair this year so we made a couple visits. Hailey loves the Little Hands on the Farm Exhibit and can't get enough. The kids were cute doing it!

Back to School....

Today was Hailey's first day back at preschool. She had orientation last week but this was the actual first class day. I was proud of myself for not crying this year. She will go three days a week and is so excited. I asked Hailey if I could take a picture of her on her first day of preschool. She told me, "Mom its not my first day...its just my first day back to school." SHe cracks me up. SHe was so excited to see Rebecca and her classmates! Yeah for Mom getting an extra day to run errands!

She seems more grown up today then ever!

All ready for school!

Goodbye Summer...

I am a little sad when I wake up each morning and realize it is now transitioning to fall. Yesterday I woke up and looked out the window to see the pool cover closed for season. Seeing that was like the door was shut to summer for me since we spend most of our time in the pool during the Hot Summer days! It makes me sad the summer flew by and that I spent most of my time sick and in bed. I always am excited for summer to come so I can do lots of fun and different things. Despite all my major health issues we still tried to enjoy some fun. At the beginning of Summer I had planned to make Hailey a small mini book to remember her fun summer. Well little did I know we'd end up not doing much and only a few things small things. Since I had it in my mind how to make it I figured i might as well. It's not the best and I threw it together pretty quick but Hailey's face was priceless when she saw it and remembered doing fun things this summer. She can't wait to take it to preschool for show and tell and show all her friends! Here are a few pictures...ENJOY!

Meeting Kona

On Saturday we got to go visit Grandma & Grandpa Awsumb and see their finished basement and new dog Kona. Hailey was so excited she couldn't get enough of Kona. All day today she keeps saying, "Mom, are you thinking of that cute dog Kona? .... cause I am!" It was fun to get to spend time with Grandma & Grandpa.
Too bad Grandma closed her eyes. It was a sweet pic!

I can sew...

or pretend too. I normally just sucker someone into making the item for me after I buy the fabric. Needless to say my friend just helped me make Hailey this darling new skirt. It has been a long hot day and her hair is super messy but I had to try it on with her new matching shirt. I love how it turned out. I want to make a million more! Enjoy!
She was posing for me!

It's painted and a work in progress...

So I have had a Lowe's gift card burning a hole in my wallet. Not really I was planning on using another giftcard to overstock and get new bedding and then paint my bedroom. Well the bedding came and I didn't love the paint choices so I decided what the heck I want a green room I might as well paint my office/scrapbook room since its my favorite color and where I spend a lot of time. I am in love! I love the color/ I need to take some in the middle of the day so you can see the color even better. Its a really pretty green but harder to see that when I am taking pictures in the middle of the night. I am excited to put more stuff on the walls and finish decorating it. In the mean time here are the pictures... I am going to be replacing the cubes to tan I think. If you want those cubes I will give them to you for cheap $3 bucks a cube!
Also I have this and the magnet board for sale as well. They no longer go with my scrapbook room so I might as well sale them right? The small enjoy the littles things i will sell for $5 and the magnet board for $15 or both for $18 just let me know if you want it! Thanks.

PS all the manets will be included too!
