Carpel Tunnel Surgery ROCKS!

I am writing while my hands are both in these lovely braces. It's very hard to move them but I am going insane and I have to get on the computer right? Last wed I had carpel tunnel surgery on both my hands. You may think I am a little crazy but my insurance was maxed so I wanted to get it done this year. Honesty it hasn't been too bad but it sucks! I am not able to do much so I appreciate Jared so much for helping me and being such a saint. He has and is being a great and dedicated husband. I owe him big time. He has had to help me in ways I am sure he wouldn't want to! Thanks to everyone else who has watched Hailey, Called to check in, brought meals(and we had wonderful good food to eat which rocked), etc. I can't even thank you enough. I was able to take my bandages off on Saturday which was awesome. My arms were wrapped up pretty much and my fingers too. I couldn't get them wet so showering woudl have been super challenging. I do have to say that shower on Saturday was the best feeling ever! Now I am just wearing the braces and my fingers are somewhat free...which is so much nicer. The down side is...because my fingers are free I think I can do anything. However when I go to do something it hurts and I scream out in pain. FOr instance I drop a lot of stuff cause it hurts so bad when I pick it up. You'd think I would get the point and give up trying but you have free fingers so you forget. We are close to a week from surgery so hopefully it keeps getting better from here on out right? I am sure you don't want to see these pictures but a few people asked. And this is almost a week after surgery so they are already starting to look a lot better. Its crazy how far up into my palm is bruised though. So cyberworld I miss you and am trying to come back. I may not type the best but I gotta tryto keep up. And by teh way I am so sick of being in my house so if you need to get out and need someone to go wtih you GIVE ME A CALL!! Thanks again everyone for your help!~

Gardner Village Elves

I feel a little stressed trying to get all the fun things in before my surgery! Needless to say we braved the cold....it is actually warmer than freezing now...but still cold and headed out to see the Elves at Gardner Village. Hailey loved it and its nice that you can walk through pretty fast and be done. Oh and of course Baby Geerta came with us! Enjoy the pics!

Christmas Projects

So I have been super busy trying to get everything for Christmas done by Tuesday. I am having carpel tunnell surgery and won't have use of my hands. I do think it will be nice having Chrsitmas done and all ready so we can just sit back relax and enjoy the season. Needless to say I dunno why but I have been pushing this project off the longest...however it was one of the most fun so I should have done it first. I found these darling tins that I covered with scrapbook paper and filled with red and green M&Ms. Hailey is excited to take the smaller ones to all the kids in her preschool class and Jared is using the larger ones for his Home Teaching Famlies. I love how they turned out. I also made some for my Mom's Primary class that have flower clips attached to the top that she filled with candy. I love how they turned out and now I need another excuse to buy/make more of these. Enjoy!

Even if I didn't do a flower clip on top I just love the flowers in the top!

A Christmas Graham

My friend Toni is doing something awesome to help reaise money for the Salvation Army. She is mailing super cute candy bars out and then part of the money will go to the Salvation army. It's a great way to send something special to someone you love and you will help serve others in the process. And the best part is all you have to do is send her your information and she does all the work. Check it out here!!!

Snow Much fun...

Despite my uber long drive this morning we got snow and lots and lots of it.Of course it has to come on the day I am to be somewhere by 9:10 am and the traffic was horrendous. I even left super early but still didn't make it till around 11. Makes me super glad I don't normally have to commute far everyday. Needless to say when we finally got home late this afternoon Hailey wanted to play in the snow. Needless to say the temperature is about 15 degrees but who cares when there is snow right? She had so much fun and this is the first time this year we've been out to play. Her poor cheeks were so rosy red but I couldn't get her to come in. She loved it! I am sure she is going to want to go out again soon. Here are a few pictures...ENJOY!

Princess Party

Hailey got to go to a party for her cousin Makayla on Saturday and Sleeping Beauty came to visit them. Hailey was pretty excited and she even got to make this darling crown. Thanks Makayla for inviting us!

Snowflakes

Hailey's room is looking like Winter. I made these fun snowflakes. Sorry the pictures aren't the best. I was diagnosed with a sinus and ear infection last night so I am just barely functioning. I was so excited though so we had to post them. She was soooooooooooooooooo excited to have them in her room!
