Update!

SO I went back up to the Moran Eye Center yesterday for a follow up. After a three hour wait I finally got in to see a doctor for all of 15 mins. Not worth waiting for in my opinion with a two year old driving you nuts too. LOL Anyways he says my eye is healed about 90% which is really good. He told me to count my blessings because most people who have this happen end up with permanent scars on their cornea and lose their eye sight. I am glad mine didn't get that bad. He gave me an additional eye drop to use with the other and told me to come back on Friday. Friday is also my shot so I will be living at the doctors!!! Anyways they think that this happened to my eye from sleepign in my contacts. I had specific contacts that said they were okay to sleep in. However th eye doctor told me that they see more problems with people who sleep in their contacts that say it is okay too then those whose say not to that do sleep in them. HE said bottom line is never trust what they say and don't sleep in your contacts. SO I guess the moral of the story is I have to take my contacts out at night....I hate waking up and not being able to see but I don't want this pain again so I will comply! I still am going to have to wait a while to wear my contacts again and I will have to slowly adjust back to them to make sure my eyes will be okay. My eye still hurts and I can tell it isn't healed all the way but I am glad to be back on the road to recovery. Hopefully it will start feeling a lot better and be less sensitive to light so I can function a little more. Anways ....So there you have my little update!

Eyes

If you think my eye might hurt or look bad mabe you should check Hailey's out first. When we came home from the eye doctor the first day and I was really complaing about my eye hurting hailey went right to her hiding spot and came out

with these glasses on. I coudlnt' stop laughing. She is such a nut and make me so happy!

Eye Update!

SO I can barely open my eye nad it is so sensitive to the light so Hopefully this make sesnse but I thought I'd leave a quick update on my eye. SO I went back in for my follow up this morning and needless to say things weren't getting better and they send me up to the Moran Eye Center at the U. They calle din a corenea specialist and are now thinking that it is not a virus in m eye. I guess I have several little bumps all over my cornea and that is what is causing all the pain and making me not see. They think it could be from wearing contacts but aren't certain. So of course I will have to be wearing my glasses for a whiel which is such a bummer. I hate wearing glasses. Anyways the prescription I was on they told me to stop taking and gave me a nother one to start. They eye doctor is going to call me in the morning and I will probably be going up to the U again tommorow to see what is going on and then have another follow up on Monday. In the meantime I am trying to hide in the dark so the lights don't bother my eyes and rest a little. I am goign to go insane I know but hopefully I can get better soon. So there you have the little update. I will keep you posted on what I keep finding out.

`Despite my eye troubles today we had planned to go to Dinner with Grandma and Grandma Lems and then to a the University of Utah Gymnastics meets. I alwasy enjoy going and Hailey was super excited and couldn't stop talking about it. SO I decided that we had to go. I packed my eye drops and lots of kleenex and out the door we went. We went to dinner at Chillis.....great trade for the money mom owed us! THe food was soo good and Hailey had the best ever for a restaurant. After that we hurried up to the stadium for the meet. When we were walking in they were handing out sweat towels...Hailey was so excited and kept telling us she got a new blanket!! Grandma spoiled Hailey and got her a pom pom with a light in it and a light stick! Hailey was so cute and had so much fun.I wish I woudl have taken my camera but with the events from today I dind't get that far. Anyways just wanted to share about our fun night adn Thanks grandma and Grandpa for inviting us to go with them. Also thanks for stopping at Holiday.....My Diet Dr. Pepper.....is still tasting soo good!!!

Eventful Day

SO I never wanted to post much on here about all the fun issues I had with my health in the past year. IT was an overwheleming year and I dind't wnat to look back at it. I was hopoing that this year would bring good health and that I wouldn't even have to write about it. Well it looks like it is still going on so I decided to give you a quick up date on my life and then let you know whats happening now. So in Dec of 2006..a year ago... I had an eye muscles surgery. It was horrible. I coudln't see and my eyes were not healed....needless to say I ended up having to have a second eye surgery to try to help correct different muscles. Several weeks later of miserable recovery and not being able to wear make up or contacts my health continued to go down hill. While all the eye surgeries were going on I was attending Physical Theraphy several times a week for my back. I have several disc issues and a pinched nerve. Well the Physical Theraphy wasn't helping so I had to have an MRI done and was referred to a Spine Specialist. Also I had to get my wisdom teeth out. I got horrible dry sockets with thoses that then resulted in a bone infection and I had one more oral surgery. So now I have had two eye surgeries and two mouth surgerious months of physcial theraphy and then the doctor decided to start doing shots in my back. THey do it as an outpatient surgery but it puts me out of commission for a few days. So at this point I have had three shots and still no help. Also during all this we have been trying to get pregnant again. Konwing that I have several issues getting pregnant this is a hard process in itself. I had a few outpatient procedures this year as well as visits to the University's Reproductive Physicians. Then come fall time I start suffering from horrible horrible headaches thatI can't get to go away. They had to do a ct scan but found nothing. They decided to try to put me on sleeping pills and some migrane medcine to see if that might help....of course they didn't tell us how pricey those pills were...but we got them anyways. We need me to be normal and happy and functioning. SO I have been taking them on and off and they seem to be helpign some. Well the past week has been no good with all my head problems. Last night I went to bed pretty early with another killer headache. And lo and behold I wake up this morning with a very painful eye that is alsmot swollen shut. It hurt so bad and all I wanted to do was cry. I was supposed to be meeting my friend at a craft store so I just put on my glasses and got up and went. .... not a good option....While we were at teh store I realzie how scary it was that I had driven myself there and that something was really wrong and I needed to get it taken care of. So thank you Lauri for taking me to my sisters house to in return take me to Jared and our car. I went to the eye doctor and found out I have a virus in my eye. HE put me on some expensive eye drops and I have to go back in the morning for a folow up. I just keep thinking Can it get any worse? WE have had our share of medical issues. I guess to some they would be nothing but I have been so overhwhelmed by all this we have gone through and are going through. I guess that my eyes are going to take a few weeks to heal so I will have to deal with that. THen next week I am schedule to have another shot in my back...this one will be right in the nerve and if it doesn't work my only other option is to be referrred for back surgery. SO Please keep me in your prayers. I need all these medical issues to stop so I can be normal again. I am so overwhelmed by it all and I am realizing I can't do it any more. SOrry to vent I never was goign to put this on here but there you have why my life has been crazy and why I have tons of medical bills now....The only good thing I can say that happen ed to me in 2007 was that fact that I have lost over 32 pounds and I am keeping it off!

Once again sorry if you read this far of my sappy life. I know to everyone else they probably won't even think I shoudl be complaining but I guess we all have our own trials in life for a reason.

We need a WII!!

So I never understood the crazy of why everyone thought the Wii was just the best thing ever. Until yesterday when I got to play one at Kates. It was so fun and I am addicted. I think it is so neat how you really do the things. We played bowling, shuffleboard, tennis, duck hunt, a horse racing game, baseball and a few others. She let me try a whole bunch and I loved it. Now I just need to find out how to grow money on trees so I can buy one for myself. If any of you out there now how to do that please let me know! Anyways just a note don't under estimate the power of Wii. It is addicting and so fun! Thanks for letting me play it Kate!

Scrapbook Pages....lots of pics beware....

WARNING>>>>>I am not the best scrapbooker and I don't have the time or money to put lots into it so this is what ya get. I was pretty happy with the way these pages turned out. I am so nervous to share becuase I normally keep my books all to myself but since i have been working so hard to catch up I thought I would post a few pictures of hte pages here. a FUN creation!

I'll have to admit that I don't always save my paper scraps when I am scrapbooking. I hate the mess of scrapbooking and having scraps is a big mess to me. However today I found a good cute use for them. I got a small composition notebook at Walmart and covered it. THanks to my new xyron it was fast!!! I Love how these turned out. I even put Hailey's initial on one so that I can write down things she says or does to have as a small mini journal. I think these will be a fun way to remember to keep track of those small and simple things. Sorry for so many pictures. I jsut had to share some since I was so excited about them...and the fact that I used scraps is a big big accomplishment for me and I am sure Jared will be thanking me for not having so much garabage in the garbage can! Save those scraps!

MIA and Overwhelemed!!!

So for Christmas this year I made each family a darling little scrapbook to put some of their favorite family pictures in. I have been working on these since July and needless to say my scrapbooks have been pushed aside.They used to always be current with only a few weeks not caught up...I decided it was time to break down and get the messes out to try to accomplish something. Side note everytime I get the stuff out I get annoyed by the mess and immediately put it away. Well needless to say one week later it is all still out and I feel like finally I am making some progress and that pile of pictures is finally dwendling down to very few! Yeah for me. I will have to post some pictures of some of the pages I have been doing. I actually like a few of them for once!!!

Hence this is why I have been MIA from most everything lately and the blogging world. Any spare min I have tried to take some time to wokr on a page! Yeah for scrapbooking.....and the mess I can't stand!!!

me old emails and ran across these pictures from when Hailey was first born. I can't believe how different she looks now and she is so grown up. Where has time gone? She saw this picture on the computer and always asks now, "where is mommies little oinker!" She is too cute. I love you to death Hailey!
